The Rola Vortex Rooftop Cargo Basket 59504 needs a roof rack in order to go onto your roof. It doesn't clamp onto rails.

For your 2017 Chevrolet Suburban, I recommend the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars, part # RRVA150B-2. They're aero-style bars that the Vortex is compatible with. To mount this onto your flush rails, you will need the RCH Legs, part # RRRCH4, and the RCH Fit Kit, part # RRRCP43-BK.

Thanks.. Sorry I should have clarified that I DO have the stock roof rack on the stock fixed mounting point roof rails, but it doesn't line up. Are there any possible remedies for this?

The Rola Vortex has a few acceptable crossbar spreads (from the center of one crossbar to the center of the other). These spreads are 26-1/4", 30", 33-3/4", and 37-1/2". As you can see, there is a 3-3/4" difference depending on where you place the clamps on the basket. If these clamps are not lining up the way you need them to on your crossbars, then move the front or back set of clamps to the next position. This may help line them up better. Of course, if you cannot make any of these placements work for you, then you will need to use a different cargo basket. Let me know if you cannot make these work and what your crossbar spread is, and I will recommend another carrier.
