Question:
I know you get this question often, so perhaps I have the information you need to make a recommendation. My EZ load trailer has 480-8 tires. I have 18inch from the ground to the inside top of the fender, and 2 7/8 clearance from the trailer frame to the inside of the tire. I want to go to a larger size wheel and tire. Can you recommend what wheels and tires you carry that would allow me to accomplish this. Thank You

I do have an option for you but we recommend 3-4" from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender and at least 1" from the inside of the tire to the outside of the frame. It seems like you are already under the recommend fender to tire clearance so the only option for a larger size would first require lifting the trailer. This would require more details on the axle type to recommend but the most universal option is the Lippert Components Standard Axle Lift Kit part # LC425750. This should then allow for a larger tire and wheel to be used such as the Kenda 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" Wheel part # AM30630.
