Is Bumper Removal Required to Install Draw-Tite 24819 on a 2009 Toyota Yaris Hatchback

Question:
do I need to remove my bumper to install this? I am planning on doing it myself and also planning on getting a hitch bike rack on my Toyota yaris 3 door hatchback 2009. for the hitch bike rack would I need any extra accessories on the trailer hitch?

You will need to remove some plastic trim rivets so that you can pull back the bumper fascia, but the fascia and rivets go back into place once the # 24819 trailer hitch is installed. It is not necessary to remove the bumper.
Take a look at the links to the installation instructions and an installation video to get a better idea of how the installation will go. The video shows a 5-door 2009 Toyota Yaris, but the installation will be the same on your 3-door model.
