Question:
After disassembly of front modeling etc is any cutting/drilling of metal required, or is installing the base plate simply a bolt on? Your video shows drilling is needed to remove some spot welds and a small bracket. Is there any difference in ease of adding the Blue Ox vs Roadmaster base plate? THANKS

The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit, # BX2232 and the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit, # 1541-1 are each rather easy and comparable to install. You can not make a wrong decision with either for install ease or quality of product. Consider what tow bar you will use and keep with brand is my suggestion. I like the Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar, # RM-576 for its lightweight and aluminum construction and that it comes with cables and wiring. It has a latch design that allows for easy release even when on uneven surface.
