Wiring IRV 292-101809 Stereo Yellow And Red Wires

Question:

I am taking out a Jensen DVD player and putting in an IRV35. The Jensen has 3 wires in - Red ACC, Blue Ant Power, and Black GND that correspond to the colors on the IRV35. However, the IRV35 also has a Yellow wire with a fuse BAT. I have read the unit does not run without 12V - Red wire. What is the yellow wire for? I see it also has to have power.

That's a good question because the instructions aren't particularly clear for the iRV RV Stereo - Single DIN - AUX/USB, Bluetooth, App Control - 50W - 3 Zone - 12V # 292-101809.

The yellow wire and red wire should actually be combined when attaching the unit to the 12 volt power source.
