Recommended Roof Rack for a 2008 Ford Taurus X

Question:
My 2008 Taurus has Rails fore and aft that are open at the front of the car clearance between rail and roof and flush to the roof towards the back. The have an open track in the rails I need to know that the Roof Racks I buy can be fitted to both sections of the rail. Thank You

The roof racks we have available for the 2008 Ford Taurus X are for the models with the rails that you have.
The roof racks designed for this have a wrap around style for raised rails, meaning they won't mount in the channels. Instead, they will wrap around the raised portion in the front. This doesn't give you much crossbar spread, but it's enough to use a variety of accessories.
I recommend the Curt Curt Roof Rack for Raised Side Rails, part # C18118. It's a very easy install and gives you aero-style bars which reduce wind noise and drag. I've linked to a video review of it below.
