Can you Use an Older Vehicle's SportRack Complete Roof Rack on a Newer Vehicle

Question:
I have a Sport Rack complete universal kit but I just got a new car that has the built in rails. If I bought a new set of legs from say rhino or other retailer would they be compatible?

A SportRack Complete Roof Rack System like part # SR1008 is not entirely universal. They fit a great variety of vehicles, but there is no guarantee the one that you have is compatible with your new car.
They are not compatible with other manufacturers' legs.
If you let me know what vehicle you had and which one you have now, I can tell you if they are transferrable or which additional parts you need.
