Question:
What is the vertical weight limit on this hitch? For a bike rack and bikes. The original hitch that came with the MX has a Bosal removable hitch adapter with a vertical weight limit of 121lbs and can carry 2 bikes maximum. As this hitch thankfully does not have a removable adapter, the weight limit should be higher than the factory fitted hitch/adapter, so the information in the car manual would not apply here.

The Draw Tite hitch part # 76143 has a tongue weight/vertical load capacity of 750 lbs. That's quite a bit more capacity than what you mentioned the OEM would have.
