Will this product work with the Yakima HD crossbar channel slots? They are a fair bit wider than the RhinoRack HD and so I wonder if the mounting plates would be able to clear that extra width. Thanks

Yakima actually makes a ladder roller that was designed to fit their HD bars with the part # Y01163 which would be your best option although the channel dimensions of the Rhino Rack HD and Yakima HD bars are similar enough the part # RR470 would technically fit.
