Are Trailer Wheel and Tire Packages Available Pre-Balanced

Do your tire and wheel packages come balanced? If not, is it an option?

Our wheel and tire packages such as the # AAM32001HWTB you'd looked at do not leave our facility balanced, as we don't have the equipment to balance them.

You can have the wheel/tire balanced locally if you wish but having the tires perfectly balanced on a trailer isn't as crucial as it is on a passenger vehicle, as trailers don't have steer or drive axles.

If you choose to have them balanced, remember that many trailer wheels are centered by the position of the lug bolts (these wheels are lug-centric) and not the center bore of the wheel. If your wheels are hub-centric, for best results have them balanced using a pin plate adapter. This mimics the way a lug-centric wheel is mounted to a hub.
