Thule Roof Mounted Cargo Box for 2010 Lexus RX350 with OEM Crossbars

Question:

My Lexus RX 350 2010 350 factory roof rails max spread is 21inch I am looking for a Thule-type cargo carrier, like Pulse, to fit to my factory rails. Please advise.

None of the Thule roof mounted cargo boxes are compatible with a bar spread of 21 inches. 23-5/8 inches is the narrowest bar spread that the Thule boxes can use. However, Thule tells me, the factory crossbars of the 2010 RX350 should be capable of being adjusted so that the maximum bar spread is 32 inches. I looked at an online copy of your owners manual, and was unable to determine if the crossbars are movable.
