Question:

Does the back of this mirror match the original. I.e., does the back cover snap off the same as the original? I want to put my white cover on this mirror rather than paint it. thanks

I reached out to the manufacturer, K-Source, about if the cover comes off of the replacement mirrors that fit your 2017 Toyota Sequoia SR5, which are the K-Source Replacement Side Mirror - Driver Side # KS70226T and Passenger Side # KS70225T.

They said the the cover on these mirrors is unattached, though keep in mind that most OEM mirror covers will not fit any aftermarket mirrors. They did say that despite this, an option would be to remove the mounting clips and use a double sided tape to attach the OEM cover to the aftermarket mirrors.

Otherwise, you are still able to paint the K-Source Replacement Side Mirror - Driver Side # KS70226T and Passenger Side # KS70225T.
