Question:
I recently installed the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Outboard Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches. When I sit my Reese 16k hitch into the new base rails, the pull pins will not fit through the rails and foot of the hitch. The pull pin goes about halfway in and then it wont go any further. With my old rails, they fit in perfectly. I believe you sell new longer pins, but Im concerned with how to get them through the rails and foot of the hitch. It looks like the holes do not line up very nice. Any suggestions?

It is possible that the rails are not square in the bed. You will want to measure from the inside corner of one rail diagonally to the inside corner of the other rail like in the picture I have included. If your rails are square and the pins still will not go all the way through then you can use longer pull pin kit # RP58467.
