Question:
I have a new truck a Chevy Colorado and want to get a Bike rack. Both the Thule Camber TH9056 and Yakima Backroad YA44FR are the sam price but their features are a bit different. I would like which ever one is easier . The hitch connections are different and the mounting cables are different - rubber type that stays on and the sliding clip kind. Both are good name products . Thoughts!

Both the Thule Camber # TH9056 and the Yakima BackRoad # YA44FR are good choices. The main difference is the straps for your bikes. The Zip Strips on the Yakima will need to be removed every time you put a bike on or off the rack, the Thule straps will stay connected. I would say the Thule option is quicker but not any easier than the Yakima option. The only reason I say that is because you just have to take the extra time to put the zip strip in your pocket or lay it somewhere. If you wanted a bottle opener, the Yakima has one!
