Replacement Scissor Jacks for Cruiser RV Fun Finder FB189 Travel Trailer

Question:

I have a 2007 Fun Finder FB189, will these scissor jacks work as a replacement on my trailer?

Yes, from the specs available to me it appears your 2007 Cruiser RV Fun Finder FB189 has a dry weight of little more than 2,700 lbs. with another 3,000 lbs. plus cargo weight available; that's a lot for a smaller trailer. The etrailer Scissor Jacks with Handle and 24" Lift, # e99012, are rated for 5,000 lbs. per jack so this will work as a replacement even if you max out the 3,000 lb. cargo weight. These stabilizing scissor jacks can be either bolted or welded to the frame of your trailer or RV. Built with a no-slip worm gear and oversize footplates to help eliminate sinking and tilting. The bolt pattern on this may not be an exact match to what you currently have so you may need to drill new holes.

It is recemmneded to use at least grade 5 hardware screws or bolts that you can source locally or, use the Self-Tapping Screw - 1/4" -14 x 3/4" Long - Zinc, that we have available here, # FA1131822.

Please keep in mind that this jack set is designed to stabilize a portion of your trailer's weight, but not to support the full GVWR of your trailer. Do not use these jacks to lift your trailer, only to stabilize it.
