Will Old Thule Feet Still Work On a 2012 VW Golf 5-Door Hatchback

Question:

I have a 2012 VW golf 5dr and was gifted a used 400xt footpack with 50inch crossbars. What thule fitkit do I need? Does the current model fitkit TH145009 work with the old 400xt footpack?

I do have an option for you but the Thule 400XT Aero Foot Pack was discontinued and there are currently no options to reuse this as they have also stopped producing the fit kits needed for them. The only option would be a new roof rack system for which the most cost effective option we have is the SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack part # SR1010.
