Hello, I have a 2006 Subaru legacy gt with a 2inch hitch mounted on it. I then attached a Thule bike rack to it number 958. I just wanted to make sure that this pin will connect and hold my bike rack to the hitch considering that I lost the original pin.

The pin # 853-5917 will thread into the Thule Parkway bike rack. However, it is not the same threaded pin that comes with the rack. Instead, it is made to work with the Snug Tite lock, # 753-3725-02. You do not have to use the lock with the pin if you do not want to.
