Are you able to change the bulb in this unit ?

The Optronics license plate light # UL94CB is sealed so you cannot change the bulb. The bulb that is used is a long-lasting heavy duty bulb but you cannot access it. We do have other license plate lights that might work for you. I have linked the license plate lights we carry.
One example is # LP31CB. It does feature a replaceable bulb.
