Power Leads for Go Power 34273866 300 Watt Inverter

Question:

go power 300w inverter has positive and negative lugs listed on the unit but the wiring harness that plugs into the unit has a black wire going into the + lug and a red wire going into the - lug which in the US at least appears backwards

I'm not sure which inverter you're speaking of. If you're speaking of # 34273866 which is the only 300W Go Power inverter we offer, our photo shows the black lead plugged into the top socket which is negative and the red lead plugged into the lower socket which is the positive, which is correct.

If you saw an error somewhere else, please let us know and we'll have it fixed.
