Hi I currently am driving a 2017 RAM 1500 and towing a travel trailer with a TW rating of 580 empty 5150 pounds empty, 6500 pounds GVWR . Im using the E2 weight distribution hitch #92-00-0800 rated at 800 TW and 8000 pounds. Im planning on buying a 2021 RAM 2500 and wanted to know if there are additional compatible shanks that can be bought? The RAM 2500 has a 2.5 inch receiver and the hitch height is about an inch or two higher so Ill need more than the supplied shank and also wider. Are any shanks available for purchase that are compatible with this specific tow hitch or do I need to shop for a new hitch?

We can definitely help with a shank that has more drop and fits the 2-1/2 inch hitch size of your 2021 Ram 2500 and E2 system part # FA-92-0800 like with the # EQ90-02-4900.
