Question:
Hi there Hope you can help. I have 2010 Mercedes benz GL350 Blutec CDI Diesel auto X164 W164. I have a genuine Merc 7pin trailer socket not round socket. None of my LED trailer lights work, BUT incandescent lights work. I can send photos. Regards and many thanks

We have actually seen this problem quite a bit in newer foreign made cars like your 2010 Mercedes-Benz GL350.
You will need the Trailer Connector Adapter w/ Lamp-Out Sensor Bypass - 7-Way RV to 7-Way RV - Vehicle End # 20142 which has built in resistors that will work perfectly to allow your LED trailer lights to work.
The reason your incandescent lights are working is they draw quite a bit more power, and newer vehicles have a issue detecting the lower power draw of LED Lights.
I included a video of the # 20142 for you to take a look at.
