For your 2012 Ram 3500 with Ramboxes, since you don't need a sliding hitch I recommend using the Curt Q20 # C16130 and base rails # C16301-200. This hitch has a 20,000-lbs capacity and the base rail kit is a custom installation for your Ram 3500, so it will limit any drilling into the frame that might otherwise be required on a universal base rail kit. The Q series hitches are a nice value option that provide you with a fully pivoting, 360 degree movement, hitch head to help give you a smoother towing experience. If you wanted the extra capacity then you'd want to go up to the Curt Q25 hitch # C16265, as there is not a 21k hitch available from Curt.
