Question:
Hi, I plan on purchasing a Ford 2021 Transit 148 WB Extended body cargo van. Im considering purchasing the roof rack system at: https://www.etrailer.com/multi-product.aspx?pc1=RRVA180S-4andpc2=RRRLTPFC-4andpc3=RRVA-FK1-4andVehicleID=20211537828andHHYear=2021andHHMake=FordandHHModel=Transit+T350 I would like to know if the mounting brackets use the factory threaded holes in the roof. The installation instructions show that the brackets require drilling and riveting to the roof. Please clarify. Also I would like to know if it would be possible to add a 5th crossbar. I thought the van has 5 pairs of factory mount holes. Thanks.

The Rhino Rack Four Crossbar Kit with parts # RRVA180S-4, # RRRLTPFC-4, # RRVA-FK1-4 does not involve drilling to install into the fixed mounting points on your 2021 Ford Transit T350. They do come with bolts, but those go into your mounting points on your roof. For vehicles without those mounting points, we also have tracks that can be drilled into the roof and then use the same roof rack kit afterwards. You might have seen instruction for those tracks.
If you want to add a fifth crossbar and you confirm that there's a fifth mounting point on your van, you can do so. The part numbers for that are:
# RRVA180S
# RRRLTPFC
# RRVA-FK1
