Question:
i working on an engineering project that I am using this jack. I saw on the demo page that the radius of the handle is 6 1/2 inches. I am assuming center to outside of handle. but what I would like to know is what is the distance of the handle form the face of the tube to the outside of the handle in the horizontal direction?

I suppose that since you are using this jack but are asking for the measurement that you do not actually have the jack present. So I will be happy to help you. There is a little bit of play in the handle but when measuring from the side of the jack out to the end of the handle it will be at least 4-5/8 inches and at most 4-7/8 inches. I made a picture showing the measurement for you.
