Question:
Good Day, I would like to replace an existing Dometic toilet model DOM 29FR, with the newer model DOM87FR. The existing 29Fr is 20 1/4” front to back. The new model is longer at 21 3/4”. As the existing toilet is almost against the wall, I want to be certain that the position of the base relative to the back of the unit is the same on the new model. Meaning, that the extra 1 1/2” is added at the front of the bowl. There are no “footprint” diagrams shown for the units, to be sure. Thank you for your early good advise.

Both the Dometic Full-Timer Boat and RV Toilet w/ Sprayer - Standard Height - Elongated Bowl - White Ceramic # DOM29FR you currently have and the Dometic Full-Timer RV Toilet w/ Hand Sprayer - Standard Height - Elongated Bowl - Tan Ceramic # DOM87FR you mentioned have the same rough-in requirement of 11" meaning that the increased 1-1/2" length is added to the front of the toilet, and you will have no problems with wall clearance as it will be a direct replacement.
I included a video of the Full-Timer being installed for you to take a look at.
