Could 180 Hitch Adjustable Ball Mount In Rise Position Allow Tailgate of Ram to Fold Down

Question:
Hi, I had a question about Item # LTB6-2. I understand it has a 6 and a 7 rise. Im wondering about the clearance with my tailgate if I had the ball mount in the rise position. I have a 2021 Ram 1500. I would want to be able to the tailgate if I had the ball mount attached. Do I have enough clearance?

If you measure from the top of your hitch opening up 7 inches you'd know where the top of the shank of the 180 Hitch # LTB6-6 would be at. You could lower your tailgate to see if it would interfere with that height. I attached a picure that shows this installed on a similar truck which you can see that it would allow the tailgate to fold down.
