Question:
I have come to the conclusion that it is not the safest idea to travel with my 5th wheel with the propane on. Which I am currently doing to allow the refrigerator to cool while on the road. I am looking for a relay switch that will allow me to switch between shore power and an inverter to power for the refrigerator. I currently do not have an inverter in the 5th wheel.

We have exactly what you are looking for.
Since you do not have an inverter already, I recommend the Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter with Transfer Switch # 34279458 which has a built in transfer switch that will switch from the inverter to shore power when it is available. This 1500 watt inverter will convert the 12v DC power from the batteries in your 5th wheel trailer to AC power allowing you to power your refrigerator while on the road without needing to use propane.
To install the # 34279458 to your batteries you will want the Installation Kit for Go Power Inverters # 342GPDCKIT3, and you may also be interested in the Remote for Go Power Pure Sine Wave Inverters # 34266886 to allow you to control and monitor the inverter from inside of your RV.
If you can tell me the starting amps or watts your refrigerator requires, I would be happy to confirm the correct inverter for you.
I included videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
