The Optronics Standard 12V Plug Wall Outlet Cover part # 13000018b does not have any sort of max amperage rating. The reason for this is because one, there is no inline fuse or circuit breaker as you would use your own and two, this would be dependent on the gauge of wire used to supply power to the outlet. Therefore, you will actually be able to decide the max amperage rating.
