hello i just got a 2021 gmc canyon elevation standard 2wd v6. and i was wondering which item would be the correct harness and plug/door for trailering lights. thank you.

In order to hook up trailer lights to your 2021 GMC Canyon Elevation, you need a trailer wiring harness.
I would go with the Hopkins Multi-Tow 7-Way Blade and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector # HM11141144.
This is an excellent kit that would allow you to use 4-Way or 7-Way trailer plug. It snaps into the factory hole on your bumper and is very easy to install. You will be attaching this harness to the bare wires behind your bumper.
