Question:

As part of one of your answers to one of the questions, you sent a picture picture D indicating that it is a connector, but since I am not familiar with proper names of electrical parts and accessories, I just need to know if the connector that is shown on picture D the same thing as the box that houses the trailer hitch wires? What is it called? Thank you!

I believe you're asking about the Tekonsha # 118778 trailer wiring harness which fits a 2017-2019 Honda Ridgeline. The harness includes two primary components, the trailer connector itself, and the converter box.

The connector assembly plugs into the connector located behind the rear bumper on the driver's side, once the protective cover is removed. The converter box plugs into the existing connector located on the back wall of the truck cab behind the back seat as explained in the linked instructions. Once the provided 7.5 Amp Fuses are installed in position 6 and 7 and the 20 Amp fuse is installed in position 9 in the fuse panel in the engine compartment, the trailer connector will be operational.

I've linked to a product description video for the # 118778 trailer connector.
