Question:
I have a sport rack anti rattle lock marked Y048 and I lost the key. Is that just the Thule key? And/or what are my options

You are correct that the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock for SportRack Bike Racks and Cargo Carriers # SR0901 you have uses a Thule key, but unfortunately Thule does not offer a replacement key for the Y048 lock core as that key has been discontinued according to my contact at Thule.
I recommend replacing your current lock with the # SR0901 which will come with two keys, and since it use the Y040 lock core you can use Replacement Key # THKEYY040 should you ever lose the keys.
