The Hide-A-Goose Rail Kit Only, # 50111, that you referred to is the correct installation kit for your 2006 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado with 6-1/2 or 8 foot bed, but according to the manufacturer this kit will work with the older 63102 hide a goose head only and will not work with current model head, # 9465. The older head is no longer available. If you currently have a Hide-A-Goose head that is older than approximately 2008, then this may be the kit you need.

The current gooseneck trailer hitch installation rail kit for the Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose underbed gooseneck hitch is part # 4454. This kit will give you the rail kit only and will not include the # 9465 gooseneck head.
