The K-Source Extendable Panoramic Mirror, # KSRM012, is a universal fit items that was designed to fit most OEM rearview mirrors, including the mirror on your 2009 Subaru Outback LE.
I spoke with my contact at K-Source about the compatibility of this mirror and your vehicle and they have no reported issues of this mirror not working on Subaru OEM mirrors. As long as you have the available space for the mirror to extend to 21-1/2 inches, you should have not problem using this mirror in your vehicle.
The mounting bracket for this mirror will clamp on to the top and bottom of your mirror.
