We have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 that we installed the Quick Goose II 60630 into. Can we use the Curt X5 adapter plate with the Quick Goose II? Also, if we are able to use this adapter, can we use it with the A20 5th Wheel hitch #16536? If this will not work, is there a way to convert this Gooseneck ball to use with a sliding 5th wheel hitch? Thank you

While we have an option for you to tow a 5th wheel trailer, the Curt X5 adapter won't work with the Curt Quick Goose 2, and there isn't a way to use a sliding hitch with this gooseneck. There is an adapter that will fit a gooseneck ball and act as a 5th wheel hitch that you can use, which is the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # DM8550045.
The base of the Recon will attach directly to the gooseneck ball and will become a 5th wheel hitch with a 21,000 lb capacity.
The Recon is a fixed hitch though, so if you were only looking to use the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with R20 Slider # C16541 you would need to remove the gooseneck hitch and install the Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP30035.
