Power Inverter for 1500 Watt Electric Fireplace

Question:
The 26 electric crystal fireplace is rated at 1500 watts. I am planning on putting one in a camping trailer. I will be using either AC power or the 12v battery with an inverter. Do you know if I have to have an inverter rated for 1500 watts? The one I have now is rated at 725 watts. Thank you

The Greystone 26" Electric Fireplace with Crystals - Recessed Mount - Black # 324-000068 is rated for 15 amps and 1500 watts so you will need to have a power supply that is rated for that amperage and wattage.
For high tech electronics like HD tv's and stereos you will want a pure sine wave inverter but for a fireplace you can use a modified sine wave inverter like the Go Power Heavy-Duty Modified Sine Wave Inverter - 3,000 Watts - 12V # 34280178.
