Will the Thule Force XT XXL Cargo Box Fit a 2009 Mazda 5 and Not Interfere with the Rear Hatch

Will Force XXL fit 2009 mazda 5 w/ aftermarket bars? Also, how much hatch interference?

The Thule Force XT XXL, # TH6359B, uses Quick Grip mounting feet that will open up wide enough to fit around a bar that is up to 3-1/2 inches wide. Measure the width of your crossbars to determine if they will fit. However, if your 2009 Mazda 5 aftermarket crossbars were installed on factory fixed points (and not on side rails that run front to back) the Force XT XXL box will likely interfere with the rear hatch.
In this scenario, the largest box you could put on the roof and definitely not get interference would be the Thule Force XT, # TH6358B. I have included a link to a video review for you.
