Question:
Hello there, I have couple of questions: This is my daily driver and the roof rack will stay on all the time and gear will only be on it when needed. My first priority is low profile: with Rhino I have 2 base options: A Backbone as a base option Which I believe the platform can be longer B Brackets to install on my existing Rails/Tracks platform length is 76 1 Which of the 2 are lower profile? 2 Which of the 2 have higher Static weight load? 3 Will both allow me to use the front sunroof all the way open? 4 Can I use a ladder without interference? 5 Are both options in stock? Thank you Ray

Of your two options the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack with Fixed Mounting Points # JB0686 will be the lowest profile. Both options can carry up to 165lbs while moving, but the static weight of the Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform is around 900lbs. Perfect for a rooftop tent!
We have not test fit the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform on a 2016 Land Rover LR4, but if you did have clearance issues you can buy some extra spacers # LHS2PAIR to gain that clearance.
The ladder # RRRAFL is 91-1/2 inches long, so as long as you haven't lifted your Land Rover a whole lot, you will be fine. If you wanted to check, grab your tape measure and see if the 91-1/2 inch ladder will be long enough to get you a nice angle that will not interfere with the side of your Rover.
