Question:
Will the top of my door be hitting the fastening clamp at all? I have a 2017 ford escape SE. No sun roof. Did not come with factory installed side rails, which I would prefer so It would be easier to remove cross bars. Do you have a system with the side rails?

All the options you have for your 2017 Ford Escape SE will require the same type of mounting system as the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero System you were looking at # RRVA137B-2 # RRRLKVA # DK375. We do not carry any side rails for your car but you do not have to worry about the top of your door hitting the fastening clamp. So, no worries there!
I've included a video for you to see that it will not hit and also to help you with the install!
