The Plastic Storage Trunk for Malone MegaSport Kayak Trailer part # MPG536 could work on your trailer but the provided brackets will not.
If you decided to mount the box directly to the trailer rather than attaching it using the mounting brackets then with proper support there is no reason you couldn't. This would be something similar to installing the Buyers Products Trailer Tongue Toolbox part # 3371701680. When installing these you just properly secure it down and hit the road. In most cases these are bolted down or secured with self tapping screws directly to the tongue.
