Hello I am interested in getting cross bars and a large capacity cargo box for my 2018 Tiguan, please let me know what options you have.

The easiest way to get crossbars on the roof of your 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan is to get the Curt Roof Rack for Raised Side Rails # C18118. These will just clamp around your existing raised rise rails and is super easy compared to getting something like the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Bars # RRVA126B-2. This would require getting the Rhino Rack SX Series Legs # RRSX022 which would be a less cost effective option.

I recommend getting the Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box # TH629906 because it has a massive amount of room. 22 cubic feet will get the majority of your passenger's luggage in there. The clamps are easy to install and will work with the Curt Roof Rails. This box does require a minimum crossbar spread of 23-5/8 inches and a maximum spread of 36-7/8 inches. When you're setting up your roof rack be sure and get the spread within those bounds. To accurately measure you will measure from the center of one bar to the venter of the other. That is your crossbar spread.
