How Does the Heat Strip Work On the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner Kit

Question:
How the heating works on this unit? It will shut off automatically fan and strip when reach the temperature and will come up again when temperatures decreased, like a normal heater?.

The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner Kit part # ACM135CH comes with a heat strip which is designed to take the chill off on cold mornings. The heat strip isn't thermostatically controlled, it will run while you have the control knob on the heat setting and it will stop when you have it switched off. The controls are on the bottom of the distribution box.
