What Are the Dimensions of the Gen-Y Pegasus Shocke Absorbing Gooseneck Coupler

Question:

what are the dimensions of the hitch coupler itself. meaning it appears that it will fit into a CMC body with a recessed welded ball hitch tray. do yall have any videos showing this hitch operating in a more commercial environment? the attached picture shows a comparable bed, but we cannot discern whether there is ample clearance of the safety hook attachment down within the tray/pan . thanks

We currently do not have any videos of this in operation in the environment you mentioned, but I was able to reach out to my tech contact at Gen-Y who provided me with a diagram that you might find helpful to determine if this will work for you.

The # 325-GH-7007 is similar to the # 325-GH-7006 shown in the diagram attached; the difference being that the # 325-GH-7007 has a 2” longer stem on the coupler. All of the height measurements would increase by 2” as I noted on this print. We do have quite a few customers that do use this on flatbeds and the only issue we have seen is if the top of the ball is recessed more than 1” below the surface of the bed.
