After speaking with my contact at MagnaFlow, I have found the grade of stainless steel used for the MagnaFlow Ceramic Catalytic Converter - Spun Stainless Steel # is 409ss. The 409 grade of stainless steel is stabilized with titanium, providing superior corrosion resistance.
Please be advised this product is not compliant with the emissions control standards in the state of California.
