Can ThermaHeat RV Tank Heating Pad be Left On
Updated 09/09/2020 | Published 09/08/2020 >
Question:
1. Will the pad or tank be damaged if left on in cold weather with an empty tank? 2. Similar question to above but would like to add a pad inside of my dump valve compartment to add some heat. Will the pad be damaged since it is not connected to a tank with fluid in it?

The heating pad part # 277-000164 can be left on as long as you'd like without causing damage. It has a thermostat that shuts it off at 67 degrees as well. This would be same principal as if you used it in a dump valve.
