Bought one of these because it Bluetooth and on the box it says not compatible with smart phones What do you think

The Jensen Heavy Duty Mechless Marine Stereo part # JHD916BT is Bluetooth compatible therefore you can use your phone (iPhone/Apple) to play music through the stereo. I have attached a photo below of the first page in the manual which goes over the Bluetooth operation.
