To install the Hopkins Rear View Camera with Backup Sensors, part # HM60195VA, to your 2011 Buick LaCrosse you will need to use a circuit tester, part # PTW2993, to test the functions of the vehicles wires to determine which one carries the reverse lights.
The wiring color for vehicles can vary from different makes, models, and model years. To be absolutely certain which function each wire carries, you will want to use the circuit tester.
I am including a link to a video installation of the rear-view camera on a vehicle that will help you with your installation. The vehicle is different, but the installation would be similar.
