What is Bulldog Landing Gear Crank Shaft Diameter

Question:
Hello, wondering what diameter is the crank that comes out of jack that the handle attaches to? I want to make my own connecting rod that fits on to the cranks between the two jacks

The shaft that a handle like part # BD8001090283 or a connecting shaft of the Bulldog Landing Gear Jack # BD182411 is 1/2 inch in diameter.
