Hello, I have a 2014 Honda Odyssey that does not have any roof stuff. Does the Yakima easytop roof rack work with a vans sliding doors if the straps have to go through the cabin? Thanks much

I have a solution but with your van as the doors slide they would interfere with the straps running through the track area the doors slide in. Instead it will require a roof rack system to attach the Malone Rack Pads for Crossbars part # MPG314 to allow the kayak to rest on. This rack consist of the parts: # RRVA126B-2, # RRQMVA10, # RRRTV168, and # RRRLT600
Not only will this allow you to attach pads but a ton of different roof top accessories for different hobbies. I also recommend thinking about the etrailer J-Style Kayak Carrier part # e98878. This would be a huge upgrade to the pads and give a much more solid base for the kayak to ride on as well as all of the straps to keep it secured properly as you head down the road that the pads do not offer.
