What Is Needed To Attach Thule Tepui Tent To Thule Roof Rack

Hi etrailer.com! 1st off, I love your website and all the info your site provides to all of us, thank you! I have the following installed - 2016 Honda Pilot w/ Thule Fit Kit 3101 TK1 + Rapid Podium Foot Pack + 53inch Wingbar Evo. Tepui/Thule Fit guide says I need Fit KIt 3132 for roof top tent install. Do you guys deal with any roof rack and rooftop tent install questions? Whats the difference between 3101 and 3132? Can I get away with 3101 i/o 3132? I have a Curt cargo basket presently and its doping fine but just wondering if 3132 is more appropriate fit kit? Thanks for your time and reply.

The Thule Tepui Tents such as the Low-Pro 2 Rooftop Tent part # TH8001LP204 can attach directly to the crossbars so I am not sure what difference the fit kit would make. If you already have a full roof rack installed then I see no issues so long as you abide by the weight limitations.
The Fit Kit for Thule Podium-Style Roof Rack Feet part # THKIT3101 is a universal track mounted system that is not specific to any one particular vehicle. It is designed to be used with the Thule Roof Mounted Top Rack System like part # THTP54.
