American Made ST205-75R15 Trailer Tires

I’ve been told to avoid Chinese made tires. I’m looking for the newest date code, tire speed rating, load rating , and American made tires. I have an 6800lbs Open Range Highland Ridge UT2710RL model travel trailer. Supposedly, Goodyear Endurance is highly recommended but I want to know what else is available.

For American-made trailer tires, the only option right now is the Goodyear Endurance, so that's the only choice, and for ST205/75R15 trailer tires what you need is the Goodyear Endurance ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire # 724861519.

The Endurance is a fine tire, but it is also the most expensive option with a lesser warranty (1-year) and shallower tread depth (8/32") than other tires. For example, the Westlake ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire # LHWL300 is a better value, has a 10/32" tread depth, a 5-year warranty, and 2 years of free roadside assistance.

Tires made in China pass the same U.S. testing rigors as the Goodyear tires, and the simple fact is the reason trailer tires blow out isn't because of where they are made it is largely because they are not utilized or maintained properly.

So I recommend taking all of that into consideration before making your decision, and to help I've added links to video reviews of both the Goodyear Endurance # 724861519 and Westlake # LHWL300.
